Satisfied hospitality workers
Though restaurants are a billion-dollar industry, hospitality workers are seldom satisfied with their working conditions. Some work at a bare minimum wage and rely heavily on generous tips. This year, we’d love to see table servers, cooks, dishwashers, and other staff members be treated fairly.
When we go to a restaurant, we want to see the same faces over and over again instead of finding out that a waiter has left to find another position that doesn’t require them to work for 12 hours. While food quality is important, healthy working conditions are even more so.
