Whether you’re trying to lose weight or just eat healthily, pasta is often seen as off-limits. However, you don’t have to ban pasta entirely or even relegate it to “cheat meal” status if you know what to pair it with.
It turns out that you can lower calories and fat in your pasta dish by adding tons of steamed vegetables, such as peppers, squash, zucchini, or eggplant, to your meal. That way, you’ll eat more wholesome foods instead of carbohydrate-packed noodles. What a trick, huh?
